Default new cherry bomb exhaust

tomorrow i am getting new custom exhaust at the local shop in town. great service and skilled exhaust work. This is what im getting: stock manifolds to hi flow cat, 3in pipe to cherry bomb vortex muffler, then 2.5 inch duals out the back 45 degrees behind the mudflaps with rolled tips. I just heard the same thing done to another dodge 5.2l today and it sounded great. just wondering what i can expect for performance/mileage gains? the only other performance mod i have is a drop-in k&n

This is an awesome exhaust brother and you will more than pleased with it.I have the same set up on my 5.9L but with headers and love it.

I have done hundreds of these on my customers vehicles and they have all loved it.

My personal favorite muffler is a Cherry Bomb. Have been since I got my first car in the mid 80's, a '73 Nova SS and put a pair of CB glasspacks on it.
Don't know why I never even gave a thought to checking them out when I did a cat back on my truck about three weeks after I bought it new.
I looked real hard at my Flowmaster 50HD when I did the headers about a year and a half ago, but unfortunately it was in perfect shape still.
I'm not in the financial shape I used to be in, so I really can't justify changing a mod I've already paid for just to change it.
I periodically check it, but it's currently only showing just a tad of surface rust. When it starts to look ragged, it's coming off and a CB Vortex is going on...

ill see what i can do on the video. my computer has been acting up so online stuff is tricky now.. the exhaust made it easier to climb hills without downshifting. the truck runs smoother and holds its speed easier. ive gained 2 mpg on a mostly highway tank. i will soon know what a normal half dirt road/half highway tank improvement is. even if its not much, i love the power increase and sound
