Question Old Posts - Embedded images missing since migration?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to view pictures that were embedded in old posts? For some reason I cannot see them, and I don't know of an easy way to find them.

For example... look here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-ram-diesel-tech/86443-oil-bypass-install.html

They have a lot of reference to pictures that are not loading: [IMG]local://upfiles/1508/0EC42A2AB6854099A9C3A9A76A0CEB80.jpg[/IMG]

It would be useful to see theese pictures, as a lot of them are in DIY articles and what not.

Sorry if this has already been covered... I visit this forum only about once a week or so, and don't always catch any updates.

Thanks,
Cartman

For what it is worth... I also verified that I had the following checkbox selected:

Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

In the User CP, Edit Options area...

Old gallery images, from before the s/w upgrade are no longer viewable. We were told this would be an issue by the software people handling the upgrade and posted to everyone who had images they might want to save, to do so before the upgrade took place.
The current situation where there are so many posts, DIY's, etc. with just a link to a picture that no longer exists has been discussed by the admins & moderators. The site Admin has decided to approach the software team about there being a way to make them all work again. However, the software team has been upgrading many sites for the last few weeks and will continue to be doing so for a while. So it may just take us a bit to have a definite answer/solution...

Cool... thanks for the status/update. Maybe I should pay more attention to the e-mails.
