Default Fuel Sync

I just bought a longblock for my 98 ram. Is there anyway around setting the fuel sync when i swap the distributor

I have the same thing going on. I installed an 01 5.2 in my 99 ram. I have been running it for about 2 months now and haven't done anything with the fuel sync. It is belching fuel and only getting around 11.5 mpg, but doesn't run too bad. I think I found a way to adjust it with my OBD II tool, I just need to know what to set it at. I know this doesn't help you but your not the only one out there.
