Default Leaking water

Just recently noticed that I have water leaking out of my floor vents in my truck. I took notice when I got in and it smelled really bad of mildew. Well it turns out both sides of my carpet are soaked. I hardly ever run my a/c and at the time my fan was turned on low. I live in South Carolina and it has been really hot as of late. Could this just be condensation building up inside? Or do I have a problem?

your drain tube is probably plugged up. It's in the engine bay, behind and underneath the drier canister. snake a thin straight length of coat hanger or wire up the tube and hopefully it'll poke all the junk out.

As far as the mildew smell goes, I have seen cleaning services for A/C vents offered at some shops, but i don't know much about them. The only other choice would be to disassemble the duct system and clean it all. I've heard of guys spraying ozium or lysol into the floor return vent, but I can't see how that helps get the mildew out.

I'm guessing that it kills the mildew, I don't think it does anything for the smell, the ozium might a little.

I worked at a dodge dealership for a few months and I had the same problem. One of the techs there told me what to do and it worked fine. First you need to clean out the drain pipe with high pressured air if possible (coat hanger should work fine). Next you need to find some rubber silicone and a rubber tube that is shaped like an L. Silicone the tube onto your drain pipe after you cleaned it. If you want you can spray a sealant on after. Adding the rubber tube will cause the water from your AC to drain directly down. Oh and make sure you point the tube down. About your carpet, vacuum all the water out and leave a window cracked for about a week. Or rent a steam cleaner

This is what it should look like when finished (picture is upside down, had trouble taking the picture):
