loudest exhaust with tailpipes?

Default loudest exhaust with tailpipes?

i have a 95 ram with the 5.2.....it currently has the stock converter, then it turns to 2 1/4 duals with no mufflers and "4 x "16 tips...i love the sound but want something a little louder and keep my tails....any suggestions

High-flow cat would get you a little more sound and more flow.

i got a hi flow cat, added to my straight pipe exhaust and it added quite a bit of sound. for the exhaust, i got the hearththrob deep tone duals. its straight pipe and 20" angle cut stainless tips. its rather loud

Be careful. Not having a muffler is illegal in some states.

gut cat and dump it right after. Leave the tips for show.

you said loud, not legal or operational.

I don't think there's a muffler out there that's louder than straight pipes. If you have to use a muffler, a flowmaster 10 is about as small as they make. If you've gotta use a cat, get a high flow one. Headers will increase the volume as well as the round style Air intake. I believe there might be one for sale around here...

No cat although not sure that that would be legal in any state in the US. However I have a Flowmaster 40 which is not the loudest but still fairly loud. Anyway when I replaced my factory cat with a Magnaflow hi flow one it did get a bit louder. Not a ton but a bit.

im thinking about getting a flowmasters 10. next time around, prob next year when taxes come back

you could also change it to an x pipe to make it louder but i thik you will need 2 cats
