I have a question... my '96 360" is having the same sort of issue. I noticed that as the temp has dropped below freezing, and I start it to let it warm up.. it drops right into an idle speed I would expect for a warm engine, not a cold one. Is this possibly a sign that the IAC was on the verge of going bad?

I am going to order one and see if it fixes my problem. Cheers.
