Angry Help with 9.25 LSD Rearend

I have a 9.25 LSD rearend it is in a Durango but there all the same and more people use the truck forms. I replaced the pinion bearing and when changing the fluids found the clutch pack clips in the bottom of the diff verry common I guess. I also found a piece of clutch pack. Now my question is I don't realy need the lsd so what would be the cheapest way to have this rearend reliable. Could I just take the clutch pack out or what else could I do? I took all the pieces out and filled her back up with gear oil and even added the addative and it has been working fine the lsd even still works. I just want it to be reliable!

Cool

I put a detroit true trax in mine it was only about $20-$30 more than the factory replacement. It works great no problems yet. a lot of my friends had them and beat the **** out of it and nothing happened. It locks out the rear end under torque when you want it but it acts like a LSD in turns. it is perfect

Is there a way of just making my lsd an open diff without swaping the whole thing. I just don't want the clutches breaking more pieces off.

Swap the carrier out for an open carrier. You can usually find them used pretty cheap. Just ask 01DodgeRam360. He did this same thing.

Default 9.25 diff issues

The clip package from the dealer (Me) is only $9.25 retail... part #5183722ab Why would you waste time and $$ for an open/ one legger rear diff??
