this is probably irrelevant to the ram thread but not really anyways i was coming from work today and im just cruising along when this woman in a freaking BMW cuts me off right before the red light..... well luckily i was paying mind to her and stopped before hitting her a**. well when the light turns green traffic moves forward and she pulls 3 ft up stops well after i saw the light turn green i waited a second let off the brake and didnt even touch the gas...i feel a thud and said omfg!!!!!! the woman pulls into the turning lane gets out and automatically says you gotta phone and im like yeah...she said call the police in this pissy tone....I used to be a Sheriffs dept ride along in the county and you dont call 911 for something minor like this. I said before we do that lets move the vehicles into the parking lot so we dont get killed....She was like no the police need to see this....Im like maam this is minor we need to move this out of the way off the flow of traffic... She said no again so i said whatever not 5 seconds later she says i think its best if move into the parking lot. im like wow could you be any more ignorant....so we pull over and i get out to assess the damage....GOD....her truck was pushed in about 4 or 5 inches. i was afraid to check out the ole ram... well i check it out and to my surprise the only damage i suffered was a busted off road light...The way it looked from inside the truck i though hell im screwed but thank god for durability of a dodge bumper. but the down side is shes gotta get a new trunk door cause foreign made cars are pieces of SH**.... sorry this is long but needed to vent to my 2nd gen ram fam

They'll probably say you were %100 at fault for rear ending her too.

 

When she said that you should move into the parking lot, you should have said "No, the cops need to see this," and wrote down her license plate number, making sure she saw you.

And then if she moved into the parking lot or wherever, you should have stayed right there, and when the cops came, "Officer, I think she tried to flee the scene!"

 

don't sweat it. your liability insurance will cover her car.

 

Yeah I'm just glad their was no damage to my American made vehicle well our state law in Alabama says if its minor accident you must move the vehicles out of flowing traffic if she would have stayed in the turning lane she would have been stroked a ticket. And when she was leaving afterwards she told me which way she was going so I needed to pay attention. But in all reality she is at fault for stoping for no reason but I have no witnesses

 

lol Im glad your truck didnt suffer major damage. Something like that happened to my dad.. Some little foreign car was tailgating him, he coems to a stop and the guy in the foreign car pulls up farther and runs into his trailer hitch. My dads trailer hitch took no damage, but it ripped through the guys front bumper.

 

yeah no damage to the truck its self only the off road light....If i had a road armor bumper i would have laughed cause she would have been F*****
