lol yep! and they all doubted you...

made me laugh thinkin about that mechanic that neon brought his truck to, to get the headers on. How he bitched and moaned about how much of a hassel it was. It took me an hour to bolt them up. Big deal!

Motor,

Did you use the pacesetter gaskets?

I strongly suggest you replace those asap. Way too many guys have complained about blow outs using those pacesetter gaskets. Felpro would be the cheapest I'd go, but remflex makes a great gasket.

I'm looking for a set of headers for my 95 1500. I see yours don't have provisions for the egr. Did you bypass or delete your egr? If so, how did you do that? Any check engine codes?

You have to lift the engine up at all to get those in?

no egr. i had a crack in my intake manifold, so i swapped it out with the m1 which is non egr. hence my "excuse" for new headers, cause the left side stock exhaust manifiold has a egr tube. i also swapped out my gauge cluster for one in MPH, so i just took the cel light bulb out. Yes it will throw codes, but i wont see em.

cereal- the left side has to be put in from below. remove the oil filter and push the headers up from under the truck. the right side is done from the top, just shove the sob down there and its good.
