Default differances

me and my buddy are discuing the differances of the 318 and 360 motors, can anyone tell me if they are the same, or what the differances are, and can you interchange them?

Well they are v8 motors. I will assume you ware talking about the magnum motors. Take a look at wikipedia for the engine hp and torque outputs. ( I think there is 15hp more and 35 more torque from the 360. Dont quote me ). Just thinking out loud, three noticable differences would be computer, flywheel, and harmonic balancer. The 318 is internally balanced and the 360 is externally balanced. I can't remember if the motor mounts were the same or not. Other than that... I can't really think of much that is different.

Most external parts are interchangable.
They are the same basic design and engine family.
