Default Blown Fuse and Headlights

First off the truck is a 1996 Ram 1500 v8.

I have replaced the headlight switch, the dimmer switch and the fuse.

I get no low beam headlights. when I do have highbeam headlights it works for awhile till the fuse gets hot then it blows. Then I lose all headlights and brake lights.

I'm at my wits end with this problem. If anyone can help with this problem that would be awsome. Thanks

What fuse are you using with the headlamps? Should be one 15A fuse per side, I believe.

Maybe its time for rewiring your headlights using relays to take the load of those switches and fuses.
