Help! Before junk yard closes
My ram is a 98 regular cab, I went to the yard to see if they had any doors. They do have a 94 and 97 with perfect doors. I asked the guy if they would fit mine and he looked on computer and it says 98 and 99 are the same and the others are different! Anyone know if they will fit? I thought they were all the same except the mirror mounts.
BTW before I left I asked how much, I was amazed when he said $35.

According to the replacement doors at LMCtruck.com they are the same:

you got a dealership open SAT morning? Call em up and pretend you want to buy one and ask a few Q's. Or drive down there and talk with a tech, they usually don't care about body work, but could point you in the right direction.
Or call a collision center and ask. They might be a little stingy with the info though. You might have to race the guy to the junkyard.

already back with it, LOL! Yard is 3 miles away. Glad I brought my 13mm swivel head gear wrench with me. Dam truck was so close to another I couldn't open the door hardly. No one there on Saturday to run the loader to move it. Sucks it's blue and mine is silver, but I'm doing other rust repair and have some chroma base and clear . So I'll just spray it. For $35 bucks painting is no prob.
Damn! Too bad I'm in NH! LOL However I do custom cabinets and most are sprayed with lacquer, so I can get a pretty good finish with the chroma base too. I'm fixing some other rust spots before they get too bad.Any tips on spot repair you can offer would be great though.
Thanks John
