Its hasn't been a year yet. If it would have been done sooner I wouldn't have some of the stuff I'm adding so it a way its a good thing.

BTW I have to rant on the tags again. You can say I suck all you want and that it taking this long is "too funny" but in the end my truck will be better then most of the ones in the 2nd gen section so y'all can kiss my ***

ido think the tags thing has gotten out of hand, and that it is immature.

Blue, you certainly have more patience and control than I do. Almost a year for a build? and still not done? If I was you, by now, the engine would have been out of his shop and done already, and he would still be trying to figure out a way to remove the ballpeen hammer planted firmly in his jaw prior to me taking the engine elsewhere. That being said, from what you posted, you got the right goodies for that engine. As long as the machining is done right, that engine should a real good piece.

I didn't care up till recently really. Like I said the longer he took the more goodies it got. I've always heard good things about the guy so I don't doubt his work. Everybody kept saying take it somewhere else. The thing is there's nobody else around here. Every other shop I have found is hours away.

Like the old saying good things come to those who wait.

BlueBeast, Glad to hear your engine-builder is finally getting around to assembling your engine. I still haven't got around to selling The DOGG so I drive it several times a week just to keep the battery up, etc. Keep us posted on the engine progress as usual.

He didn't update the thread but he did get the engine back yesterday. He said this weekend is busy for him so he will paint everything during the week I guess and get his new dash top in.... and go from there.

Pcfuxerpro is correct. I got it back yesterday. I need to paint it before putting it back in. I also am getting my new dash top painted at a body shop this week. Would be nice to hero it and have it running and road legal by Sunday but I doubt it
