well I did my own using the herculiner and other the being a little thin (nothing a second coat wouldnt fix) Im loving it. when I did mine I got a bunch of it on me and other areas that I didnt want it. the manufacturer said use only this stuff called "methyl ethyl keytone"... MEK for short (I know sounds an awefull lot like methyl ethyl bad s***) and the stuff really worked wonders its like an industrial paint thinner. my suggestion would be to use some of that and some heavy duty brilo pads and go to town, shouldnt be too bad if its such a thin coat.
