How do you get the hooks off....I want to put a cover on it
Tryed screws will not move even with a impact driver

I'm guessing they are screwed in but I don't know for sure. Are they screws or torx heads? If an impact driver wont work maybe try heating them up a little then try the impact driver.

This is from a 98 ram....no body had trouble getting this off to put a bed cover on
Yes they are screw it...see pic...the problem is the case is plastic so you can't heat them

Take your Philips head to the screw, and try hitting on the handle end of the screwdriver one or two times with a hammer. Then get in the bed, put as much downward force you can put on the screwdriver and turn it. Idk what to tell you if that doesn't do it, other than breaking it off.

Yup I'd say maybe some PB blaster and keep going at it with the impact screwdriver.

is there perhaps a nut holdin the screw in, that may be reachable from under the bed rail. try removing the bed liner and look for a nut

I used to have those in my 95 F-150, they were great!

I am trying to recall how they anchored in...

just drill them out. maybe drill a pilot hole and try an ease-out. if that fails just keep drilling.
