Default Another Tranny problem

I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4X4 with a 318 auotmatic trans. Today on my way home from school i started to accelerate and it went through first gear fine and then 2nd came and it seemed like i was just reving my engine in neutral and then it went into third gear. everytime i would stop and then go again it would do this. Is my trans slipping, What does this mean? when i got home i checked the trans fluid (with truck running in nuetral) and the fluid was fine, just under max. I need help, any suggestions would be great.

Adjust your second gear band.

Default Trans issue

Most likely your band strut anchor, part #3743338, broke... it attaches to your kick-down band.. which when it breaks... causes the issue you have.. You would have to take the trans pan off and take a peek up inside the trans to see if your kick-down band is loose.. Hope this helps.
