Default sct or superchip?

I just wanted to refresh that old thread that was around about which is better for my $. Is the internet update working on the superchips for the 5.9? What more do they offer? Why is SCT considered better? Whats the best for fixing death flash after plenum fix? Any opinions would help.

SCT. I've not heard the best things about the Superchips for these trucks. They show a large gain but also seem to get put in the same group as the Hypertech by many people which doesn't make a huge difference. 01DodgeRam360 also tried one and said the same thing. Didn't seem to make a big difference.

a custom tune(sct) has got to be the best bang for the buck.it takes into account all the mods you have already done and maximizes them.
i have the hypertech max energy and it is just ok. nothing super impresive.it did help though. getting ready to buy the 3815 soon.and the sct later.wanting to try them all out to compare them. would have already had the 3815 but the boy had to have school clothes and class ring.

That would be great if Talon6 could get back with us when you do get the 3815 so we can at least single one out. I just fixed the plenum with the hughes kit and i think the sct would be a better buy over longtubes and a cat sim. About the same in price. But always lookin to save money if the 3815 kicks just as much a$$. Has anybody used the internet update with the 3815?

i will definitley let everyone know how they compare. i should be getting the 3815 in the next couple weeks. as long as nothing else pops up. school is back in, and it seems like every time i turn around they need money for something.

i got the flashpaq superchips, if your not going to be doing internal like heads or a cam . go with superchips . i think the 3815 did a wonder. for the price couldent beat it, and if i decide to get a hemi i can detune my truck and put it on the hemi . just some things to think about
