I agree! Get the Fastman. It is a great upgrade. Besides, if you have nothing wrong with the trans. why replace it? Just change the fluid at normal intervals and keep it OUT of OD unless you are going 65 or more MPH. This is what I've done since the day I got mine because of the power loss when it goes into overdrive with 3:55 gears. 150k and still going strong. Knock on wood.LOL
And btw, since it's a 2001 it probably already has a factory trans cooler on it! Even better for the life of the trans. Mines a 98 and has the factory one. First thing I do after starting it is turn off the OD. That and the fact that I change the fluid and filter is why I believe at 150k I have no probs yet. Yet! it's a big word really. LOL

Yeah he provides a 30 day warranty and says they usually either work or don't. I wouldn't take that chance if it was me as there are a lot that last longer than 30 days but then quit working. Others have checked into his and said that once you get everything you need the price is on up there with Dr. Evil and APS too or close to it. Then you have a bad warranty and it was some stuff I think the other did that he didn't. I like Dan and he seems really knowledgeable but I don't think I'd ever buy that transmission from him unless he steps the warranty up. To me if you feel you can actually build a transmission that can be heavy duty you shouldn't be afraid to offer a nice warranty.
Yup the only two things I don't like about them is that they offer rebuilds where as APS has a stock of brand new OEM Mopar ones you can either buy cheap or get them to build the brand new one to be a performance transmission. Although you pay a pretty penny for them. They really seem to know what they are doing and are super helpful with anything before and after the sale. I can't say enough good about them. They also rebuild them or offer rebuilds but I didn't get the prices on those as I wanted a new one.
The other thing with Dr. Evil is they use some part APS says not to use. However, lots of guys like them and I'd check them out. I couldn't get them on the phone and really wanted a APS soo didn't look too much at them especially after I couldn't get ahold of them.
