Default Need A/C help

Preface: 134a refridgerant is at a good level, compressor is engaged, air is cold. The A/C is turning on just fine good cold air. After approx. 10 mins.+/-, the compressor disengages and will not re-engage. I poked around and noticed that the high side tube that run along to inside top rail of the passenger side fender has a insulating foil wrap at about the half way point. When the compressor is running the tube is very cold up to the foil wrap. After the foil it is very hot. Is this normal??, is there a check valve or filter that's getting clogged. Could the high side sensor or switch that's located by the compressor going bad?. Any help woud be appreciated, thanks

The orfice tube is in that line. Not sure if you have a bad compressor or something clogged or what.
