Been checking the forum extensively, however I couldn't find what I wanted. Has anyone tried to swap the steering wheel in their 2nd gen truck for a 3rd gen steering wheel? Was wondering if the 3rd gen dimensions were roughly the same as the 2nd and whether or not it'd be advisable to put a 3rd gen steering wheel into a 2nd gen truck.

 

I have been wondering the same thing myself for a while. Just haven't gotten the guts yet to grab a 3rd gen wheel from a yard and try the conversion. Maybe the next weekend I have off...
