Ok I did the search on p0720 I will pull it wipe it off and re install and hope for the best. Replace it if necessary, no big deal.

CEL when I clean up/replace the speed sensor will my CEl go off on its own or will it need a reset? If it needs a reset how do I do that?

 

no you should not have to reset it, just throw the new one in, and drive. it will go inactive, and CEL light should go out.

 

But if you like instant gratification when you are done, disconnect the neg. battery cable while you are doing the work.
