Default Vibration While Driving

i have a 99' ram 1500 5.2 4X4 with 104k on it. Last week a vibration occured while i was driving, it happens when i am slowly accelerating and ussually occurs around 25 mph between shifts from 1st gear to 2nd. It doesnt occur or at least it isnt as noticable if you punch it from the start. i origanally thought my trans was shifting but if you manually shift it from 1st to 2nd then to drive it never happens, so its definatly not slipping. I took it to a trans shop and they told me to check my cat. i took it to a muffler shop and they told me to get a second opinion on my trans. But the muffler guy told me that it could be the soleniods in my trtansmission going bad. So today i took it trans shop and and they told me they couldnt tell me whats wrong with out paying a $75 diagnostic fee. Prior to this i havent paid a dime but also i havent learned anything. But the truck goes in next monday for a full diagnostic. Anyone have a similar experience or know what it could be? Thanks
