Default HALP!!111 tools for a brake job on a 01 ram

hey guys, it's been a while (well a few years since i've been on the boards) and have since sold my dodge's (SRT-4, 05 RAM) but i have some work to do on a friend's 2001 ram 1500

can anyone point me towards a thread with a list of the tools (socket sizes and such) needed to do a F&R brake job? he has NO tools so i have to bring them

it is much appreciated, as i have to get over there this morning ASAP and get this done, as it is a work truck

thanks
Adam

I can't remember the socket sizes but I'd buy a nice good socket set, pair of pliers, fairly big screwdriver or prybar. The screwdriver would be used as a pry bar. A nice spring tool would be nice for the rear if they are the drum brakes. You can get those at Napa. You will also need either a c clamp or a brake pad spreader to push the pistons on the brake calipers back in.

You will need some emory cloth or atleast a wire brush and some lube to clean and lube the slides and bolts.
