Default Drivers Side Power Window Goes Down Fine But Up Slow

The power window in my 95 ram takes a while to close but goes down just fine. Do I need a new motor or does something need to be cleaned and lubricated. If it just needs to be cleaned and lubricated what do I use?

Thanks,

Lithium grease works best. Clean the contacts on the motor and get all of the grease out of all moving parts before regreasing.

I'd guess your motor's going. The load on the motor is greater when it has to push up the window against gravity.

You can swap in the passenger side motor to test this theory before you buy a new one.

+1 on the Lithium grease if that's the issue though. Don't use axle grease or bearing grease or the cab will stink for a month.

another thing to look into is the window being seated right the only time I have heard of this issue the window would go up really slow and not line up properly often had to push the window up the last 1/4 of the way
