5.2L, automatic, 2WD. The only mods I'm running are the Fastman TB and cut intake runners.

Stock, I used to run 16-17mpg highway. Hell, with a tailwind coming home on labor day I got 15.8 with my lift and tires, and I had the bed loaded (granted with a headwind going down I got closer to 12 @ 65mph). In town I get 11ish depending on driving habits.

i have the stock 20's wheels,3.92 gears, cranked the torsion bar,and 180 stat.this must be why my mileage is not as good. i drive it pretty easy 95% of the time.3rd gen body with 2nd gen motor.no leaky plenum and stock exhaust. i think maybe i need to have my cat checked.

Don't forget about your HHO generator, TB spacer, and fuel line magnets.

HHO is snake oil. Search the forums and you'll see how we take some "supporters" of it to task. Some smart-*** 19-year old was going to test it (combined with the $30 in parts from Radio Shack) and come back with his results. So far, pretty boy hasn't been back. Am I surprised? No.

I actually tried an HHO gen... It gave me about 3-5 more mpg consist everyday.

the bad part is mixing the solution and keeping it balanced. I mixed mine a little rich and pulled about 30amps thru it during a 3hour moving trip. Needless to say I burnt the darn thing up. I was going to rebuild it but I don't think it's really worth the time.

Granted a 5mpg increase is a lot, but I had to check my mix and level of water EVERY time I started my truck. For me that includes popping the hood, hooking up my amp meter and adjusting as needed. Theres a link on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG-MfUkk6PM

Bull. If this crap were true, Detroit would be installing it on every car off of the line.

Not really true! Even it is does work, it's too hard to maintain. And us Americans are all about convenience. If you can't just unscrew a cap or look at a dipstick it's too much trouble.
