timing cover seal

Default timing cover seal
Does anybody have any tips for driving the timing cover seal in? None of my seal drivers are large enough. This thing is giving me fits, and just tapping around on it just doesnt seem to work. thanks.

Have you cleaned the old sealer from around the hole? The seals have what most people think is just paint.

i lined mine up, put a 2x4 block across it, and smacked it with a hammer. once it started, it slid right into place.

Talking Got it !!!!!!
I used a 1 by 4 board with a 3/4 inch hole drilled in it. I also used the old seal behind that to push on the new one and screwed it in with the balancer bolt. It worked like a charm. Thanks for the quick replies
