Default My truck vs hurricane IKE (2)

So the hurricane passed us and my truck was fine. We lost power so we decided to stay with my uncle who luckily is a ASE certified tech 26 years and also the Service shop manager at helfman dodge in houston. Went to sleep last night and woke up to my dads neon underwater and water inside my truck. Im thinking that this hurricane does not like me. We pushed the neon onto a drive way and are letting the water drain out before we start it up. As for my truck i am feeling a big loss of power and it just feels funny. Almost like its going to die. Wish i would have taken pictures but i was too busy pushing cars in water above my knees.

Comments etc please thanks

I would have let the Ram dry out for a day or two also. You may have water in the exhaust system that effected the o2 sensors and any sensors under the truck like the VSS and the sensors on the transmission may be wet.

should have pulled the plugs out of both and crank them over first. This will push any water out of the cylinders that may have gotten in without damaging anything, although if you didn't do it first, and it runs, and it didn't make a ton of noise, you probably didn't hurt anything. Could just be moisture in sensors, etc, etc.

The ram ECU should be high enough to keep it out of the water, but I'm not sure about the neon ecu. Change the oil in both, then fire em up to see.
