Default Finally...Exhaust Clip with Headers and No Mufflers

Well, over the last few months I've graduated college, started a new job, moved, and have been trying to keep up with everything else in my life, so I haven't had a lot of time to do any videos of the truck since my last modification. These videos are of my truck with Edelbrock Shorty headers into a Magnaflow y-pipe with high flow cat split out 2 4x24" chrome exhaust tips; no mufflers. It isn't always obnoxious; only when I want it to be. Here are the videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piDWGjfOddw

The first clip is at somewhere between 2000-2500 RPMs and the second is between 1200-1500 RPMs. As much as I love driving the truck, I really don't get to use it for a truck much and I am considering selling it and my '86 T-bird to get a small very fuel efficient car and then a new 09 Challenger SRT-8. I haven't fully committed myself to this yet, but we'll see. Let me know what you guys think of the videos.

Thats an awsome sound. Im sorry to hear that you may be selling it. So you have a y-pipe to a single hi-flow cat then another Y to the rear? Great roar

Thanks a lot man...I don't worry about the neighbors too much; my truck definitely isn't the loudest around, but it can be if I want it to be. Most of the time I respect people when I drive by houses, especially at night, but I do enjoy an occasional stomp from time to time. I'll see what I can do on that other vid...

Thanks a lot man...I don't know that I'll ever have another muffler on anything V8 again. I just always have the best results with straight pipes. Yeah the setup is headers->Magnaflow y-pipe and high flow cat assembly->Magnaflow y-pipe split-4x24" tips. I was very happy with the setup. I really haven't committed to selling it yet, and I really hate to. However, it is probably going to happen. I really think I need a Challenger at this point but we'll see.

you try to run a truck here in good old Massachusetts with no muffler and the cops will be on you before you back out of the driveway...

still sounds awesome
