Default ram 1500 SLT transmission issues

My 1998 ram has started giving me issues, I noticed the other day that the transmission wasnt shifting propery, it seems to shift out at about 3200 rpm, but if you tromp on the throttle it seems to slip until you release the throttle again, as well I tried shifting manually , that doesnt seem to help, I crawled underneath and check the wiring to make sure something didnt come unplugged, all seems well, Just wondering if it could possibly be the governor soleniod and the sensor if I have other issues.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks tvindivo

It slips? In every gear or just in certain gears?

I wouldnt as much say its slipping its like the torque convertor is stalled out,it seems to shift at different rpms as well. talk to a few tranny guys in town they seem to think it is the governor sensor and solenoid, I just wanna make sure as they are gonna charge me 350 for the parts to diy. Thanks tvindivo

Parts should be at the most 200.

So are you saying that it is probably the governor solenoid and sensor as well.
The price for the parts here in canada are $119 for the solenoid and $136 for the sensor, I will also need the pan gasket and filter as well so likely another $50 for that

oh, youre in canada. I cant verify what prices should be across the border. I just know that at the parts store i use a solenoid, sensor, pan gasket and filter isnt more than 200 dollars.

From what you posted it doesnt sound like the solenoid and sensor are your problem.

Is it slipping or what? When you get on it hard what happens exactly?
