Well I wasn't completely offended that I lost either. His truck has 300 h/p stock to my 245 h/p stock. He has 365 lbs/tq, and I have 350 lbs./toque. So it would make sense for him to win. I just always thought my truck would win though, just seems much more powerful. He does have that hypertech tuner though that worked very well on his truck. It firmed his shift points up drastically, and it will go to about 5500rpms before it will shift. I don't have a tuner, and my transmission was not shifting out of 2nd gear. He passed me both times when my truck was sitting in the redline zone in 2nd gear. I think if my truck was shifting properly, I could have held him off into 3rd gear. This is why I want an APS though. I do this **** regularly. I just love to have fun with my truck. If I get a stock transmission, I can say goodbye to any fun nights with my friends.
