Default Leveling kit snag

I recently picked up 2wd leveling spacers for my 01 Ram. One problem, I tear the whole thing apart and I cant get the spring out due to the tie rod end. In the instructions that came with my kit, the tie rods aren't even talked about. To get this kit installed, will I have to split the tie rod ends? If so, how difficult are they to disassemble/reassemble? I know I will need to rent tools as well.

well when you put in the leveling kit you will need a Front End Alignment.. so i would just unbolt it.. then bolt it back together and get the Alignment, and the the people doing the alignment will ajust the tie rods to get the wheels align... what size spacers did you get..1..2in?

You know, that isn't a bad idea. I picked up the 2inch kit.
