Question Exhaust

okay guys i need some opinions here. i bought a cherry bomb off my bud who for some reason ahd it on a stealth but im pretty sure its a 1/2 inch to small in diameter to fit on my dodge. do you think i could fab it to make it fit or whats yalls opinion. im cutting out the cat when i do this so i want it to sound good

You could put a reducer on before it and enlarge it afterwards if you are using the stock tail pipe afterwards. A muffler shop should be able to fab something up to work. BTW how did you get a 6" Skyjacker lift? I thought they only made a 5" and 7" lift?

im not sure. i didnt put it on. my buddy bought it from an auction and they said it was a 6" with 4" body and i dont know how to measure it lol. but yeah im thinkin about just fabbin it on and then putting like a 4 inch long pipe and a turn down chrome tip under the cab haha

i love the rumble of a cherry bomb and cuttin the cat for more flow. and idk i dont wanna make it go all the way back. cuz i dont wanna pay for it to be dualed out the back. so this is a start.

i agree flowmaster sounds better, get a 10 series racing muffler with no cat, sounds awesome.

What type of Cherry Bomb is it? A Glasspack or a Vortex? The glasspack is not too good imo,but the Vortex is awesome.Will give you a great sound and a good performance upgrade.

As for the cat,I would instead just go with a high flow cat so you get the performance and sound you want,while not loosing your low end and still remaining legal.

straight pipe all the way baby. thats all ive ever had on my trucks. tho i keep the cat for some backpressure

except for my 95 ram, ive had the cats. i just took em off this one cuz they failed on me, and im too cheap to replace em
