Default anyone do this to there exhaust

its a cutout piece for a switch to run your reg exhaust, and with the switch , it will switch over to open header, anyone know how hard or what to do to install these, and anyone do it

I don't know how hard it is, but I know many people have done it before. They've been around for a while.

anyone know where they put it in at , and how it works, and can you do it with stock manifolds/cat.

I have that exact one on my truck, works great but wont work with your stock exhaust, unless you have a single 3 inch pipe before the cat. I fully redid my exhaust and put it on there, its good to be deafening when you want to.

i thought you would put it after the cat so you wouldn't throw a code(o2 senor)....... between the cat and muffler

ya i think the cutout goes after the cat so it dont throw codes, but i was wondering, i have inspection/emmision in pa will i pass or no. of corse it will be closed when i go there. or mabey they wouldent even notice it was on there becasue its something the dont look for .... anyone ?

i would put it before the cat... it's not made to be "street" friendly... it's made to get the air moving as quick as possible and as loud as possible... you shouldn't care where it goes.. hence the name "dump" just get rid of it as soon as possible (pre-cat)

I have heard that if you have a cut out at all they will fail you. Never tried it myself though

Where in PA you from?
