Question what tranny do i have?
how do i tell what transmission i have, its a 96 ram 1500, manual..? anyone know?

it think its something like NV4500?

I believe it is the NV3500. To my knowledge, the NV4500 wasn't offered for the 1500s, only on 2500s and 3500s.

Unless, of course, some sort of custom conversion took place.

Its not relevant to the question, just curious, but does it have the 5.2L V8 or the 3.9L V6?
