mine stays above 40psi at idle and goes higher if I step on it.

well thanks to everybody that replyed, you guys are very helpful. i will just keep truckin and keep a eye on it... thanks again... one of these day i will problemly put a high volume unit and new main seal when i do my plenum... one of these days.lol

And I suppose rod and main bearings with the brass flaking are still good to put in a engine agin. You must be a wann-a-be mechanic like Jim Head claims to be the best but really don't know jack. Proved it be trying to build race car moter all he ever did was manage to blow them sky high non ever finished a race. Talk to any REAL engine builder and they will say the same thing I have.
