has anyone else done this....i sanded it down with 100grit to get MOST of the texture, didnt feel like puttin too much into it......then i sprayed on adhesion promoter, krylon black and duplicolor clear......i will rub it out in a couple of days then it should look even better altho it looks great now....

 

100grit sounds a little strong, but the black and white will good with you white truck.

 

i wetsanded, so it didnt cut into it and it smoothed it quite nicely

 

I repainted my dash when I bought a Palco dash cover. I couldn't find a match for the grey (the dash ain't mist grey) so I turned the whole top of the dash (from the passenger airbag up) black.
