Default cat questions/mpg

ok im sure its been asked, i did a search but didnt find anything and dont have anytime left so sorry in advance.

Im getting horable gas mileage not sure what but its bad. i got a new airfilter, oil change, wires, plugs, cap, rotor, tried injection cleaner. what else could give me bad mpg? Im thinkinh cat? if so how is it possible to get rid of it and straight pipe it? looking at it the y pipe comes right into it like pass side of y ontop of drivers side of y. (get me) haha. looks impossible well not, but im limited im 22 dont have lots of cash, or availability to welder unless totally needed? Ideas please.

Also could not having a muffler be a cause of bad gas mileage? stock exhaust is like rusted off at inlet and just sliding back and forth on the inners. also kind of annoying lol.

Once again i am sorry for being young dump and full of already asked questions.

things that can give you bad gas mileage a blown plenum gasket, low tire pressure ... but what kind of mpg are we talking about? do you have check lights on?

well i can eliminate the plenum gasket lol already fixed it. i wanna say between 9.5-11 mpg thats a ball park havnt really hardcore figured it out. and my deal with the tires/maybe suspension problem. my truck rides super hard like it has no shocks (it might not haha) whenever i hit a bump my back end jumps and kicks to the side. like pretty bad my friend was drivin behind me one day and said the tires prolly lifted 4 inches or so. so i went to local tire shop guy says i have 8 ply tires, and really dont need unless i haul a lot. they are 65psi tires he said drop em to 50 and see if it makes a difference well i did and it makes a litttle bit of a noticable difference but it still kicks out pretty bad. but my gas mileage has always been horrible, and the tires do not look under inflated at all. the shocks are newer maybe 5,000 miles on em they r cheapy yellow monroe's tho. and the driver side has oil and dirt all over it im thinking it might be blown out. think that could be my problem for the jumps and kicks? or could my leafs be shot? sorry for the longness

o yea no check lights just my oil light cuz i put a aftermarket oil gauge on

yea ive read on that before ill check into it again. do you understand what i said about replacing the cat with a straight pipe? and how the 2 y pipes go straight into the cat like stacked on each other? and its like the cat is part of the y pipe. and do you have any suggestions for that haha. I appreciate your quick responses!!! Thanks alot
