How do you install a speed sensor on a 2000 Dodge Ram? tnx...

First, unplug the wire that's attached into it, then unscrew the old sensor and screw the new one back in. Plug the wire back in...that easy,,good luck..

there's 2 sensors.
the true vehicle speed sensor is in the output of the trans (2wd) or t-case (4wd). its just like said above. its also plastic, so don't overdo the torque.

there's an abs sensor on top of the rear diff that's part of the speedo/abs process. it has an electrical connector and one small bolt. don't drop anything down into the diff.
