Default Steering Problem, Where to look?

The best way that I can describe the way the truck handles is:

You know when you are going down a gravel road in a car and you can sway the steering back and forth to wiggle the back end?

That is how my truck feels going down a paved road when driving if I wiggle the steering.

I just recently replaced the Tie rod and the Track bar (both Moog Lifetime parts)

I am thinking maybe tightening the steering?

any help is appreciated.

Check the intermediate shaft from the steering box to the steering column going into the firewall and make sure there is no play there or at the slip joint also.

Just grab the column where it comes out of the fire wall under the brake booster and see if it moves around at all. And about 16 "s or so ,towards the gear box you will see the slip joint. BTW, You should have someone in the truck and have them turn the wheel from left to right and look at all the steering and suspension parts to see if anything is loose.

at the end of the steering column where the shifter bracket is and the inner shaft comes through it grab hold of the inner shaft (this sounds sexual lol) and see if it moves side to side if so the bushing is worn out chrysler builds there columns loose on the 2nd gen rams and they just get worse as years and miles go buy
