Has anyone tuned 1,000,000 miles yet one a gas V8 with thier Dodge? I hate to say it but Chevrolet has some Silverodos out that has 1,000,000+ only thing done is tune ups, clutch's, oil changes and a lot of brakes and tires.

um... the first 1,000,000 chevy was not to long ago and it had 4 trannies put in it hahaha

Two years ago it was a 91 4x4 the guy was a traveling sales man but the tranny never was replaced this is the one i'm taking about.

Thats DAMN good. ONLY 4 transmissions in a million miles. Thats 250k a piece on average.

I will take that anyday on any truck. That is pretty good in my book. I wonder if these people actually use their truck or treat it like a car.

I am guessing use it like a car, especially with a traveling salesman. But I guess it depends on what he was selling.

Are you guys talking about that guy Carl on the K&N website that went 1 million miles on his 91 3/4 ton chevy?

Heard K&N and chevy got him a brand new silverado out of the deal.

Id love to keep my truck as long as possible....I have a stick so, that helps in the Dodge world.

Work trucks around all that dust and dirt and grit, just have a shorter lifespan naturally. Driving on the highway does nothing but pile on mileage. Most of my mileage is highway, and we have taken some long trips out west. If you you don't drive it hard, keep the fluids changed, your vehicle will last for you.
