Whoops! You know, I just realized I put in the wrong identification. My call sign here is not Ramaniac! No wonder nothing came up when I did my search.

On this website I am 1BigRamaniac. Ramanaic was taken when I first got here. Sorry to have two names now guys.

yeah my truck when i bought it the guy claimed the engine was rebuilt with a 360 and that the 236,000 was only on the frame.....well am doing a rebuild due to water damage and GUESSS what it is a 318 the original motor that the vin said it was, so the guy lied not that it matters anymore since i prefer the 318 but that also puts me 36k into the 200k mile club on the factory motor WOOT

175k on the odemeter, but an motor and tranny rebuild 30k ago (according to PO) but if it is not, this is the cleanest motor I have ever seen wth 175k and the stamped date on the X-fer case is alot newer than the date of the truck.

i turned 200K 2 weeks ago. she has 200467 to be exact. Rebuilt tranny, new gears in front and rear, original motor, and it runs like a new truck.

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I recently turned 200k as well. I have proudly owned her for the last 14 years. I bought the Ram the replace my 93 5.2 Dakota that I out-grew. I was having an intermittent sticking lifter so I decided it was time for her to go under the knife. I replaced the plenum gasket, lifters, push rods, and rocker arms as well as the timing chain (which was incredibly loose) and the oil pump and rear main seal. I was very happy to find zero sludge in the lifter valley and only a little in the pan (most likely what was left of the nylon off the cam gear). She runs a good as day one! I have never had any problems with the trany or t-case. I run royal purple throughout. I will post some pictures soon.

208,000 miles currently, engine runs like new and uses no oil. Tranny has been replaced twice.
