i live here in pa have emmisions also. i want to take the muffler go stright pipe. i know its illegle to just cut it off... so can i take it off and just run pipe out the back ,as if i had a muffler and pass???

 

or is there some kinda muffler that loud like stright pipe that has a sound to it ??? and is a exhaust system louder , having si/so or si/do . i have si/do right now

 

A flowmaster 10 is pretty dang loud. What's the decibel requirement (if any) for PA?

No the 10 series flowmasters dont come in a dual outlet. you could make them a dual if you bought a ypipe fitting.

If you just wanted to straight pipe it, i suggest you buddy up to your local mechanic and have "forget" about the muffler not being there.
My truck hasnt been street legal in a long time but I just call my local repair shop and tell the guy i need a new inspection for my truck. He doesnt ask questions just wants the vin and the mileage.
Its nice to have freinds every where imo.
