o2 sensor bad but which one

Default o2 sensor bad but which one

my check engine light cam on bout a week ago and now i have a slight misfire at times that comes and goes had the code read it tells me it the bank 1 sensor 1 where is this located can any one help thanks

Bank 1 should be the upstream sensor. If you have a misfire, there are other issues you need to check, such as a cracked valve seat, misrouted plug wires, or a clogged cat.
FWIW - O2 sensors should be changed every 50 - 65K miles.

Replace the O2 sensor quick. Because if you don't already have a clogged cat , you will. After you replace it , run some Techron + through it for a couple tank fulls and you might get lucky.

Running Techron will not cure a clogged cat.

I know that! But it will help clear out the carbon build up in the motor the bad O2 sensor has undoubtedly caused.And might get rid of the misfire.
