the truck is not a highway truck and i will never drive it in 4 wheel drive unless i am offroad...so would welding it all up good work? it is a hunting mudding truck i don't drive it down highway very often and if so its not very far....just seems that welding it would only effect it when i have it in 4 wheel and have my posi lock engaged which will not b very often
We've all laid it out for ya. do what you wanna do. I'd be more for you putting one in the rear before the front.

2 more cents

My brother has front & rear limited-slips in his 06 Nissan Frontier an it does great both on & off-road plus with a little double pedaling (brake & gas at same time) he gets traction of front & rear lockers.
