I have the 318, but in the service manual, the procedure is pretty similar. It's not a hard job.

Basically, disconnect the battery, drain the radiator, remove the air box, lower hose, belt, alternator, a/c compressor. For the a/c, don't disconnect the lines, just move the unit out of the way. Remove the accessory bracket and finally the water pump. Clean the surface, put some gasket silicon, the gasket, and put more silicon on the new water pump. Then bolt everything back together.

One note, I couldn't get the fan off the pump before I took everything apart. Since I bought a brand new pump that came with a pressed-on pulley, I just put the old pump in a vice and took the fan off that way.

You should also change the thermostat while you're at it. Trust me, buy the premium tstat. They cost about $12, but will last MUCH longer than the cheap $4 tstat. Tstat is same as water pump: silicon, gasket, silicon.

First time will cost you about 3 hours of your life. If you ever have to do it a second time, it will be <2.
