Ok so i think i fried the wirring in my steering collum that controls my wipper motor. I need to get this fixed so i can get my truck inspected. My inspection ran out last month. I'm wondering if i can just wire the motor directly through the firewall and mount a switch on my dash. I know that sounds ghetto but oh well. I was thinking of a three stage switch. One for off, one for low speed, and one for high. My wippers only have two settings, low and high. Does anyone have any advice or has anyone done something like this?? Thanks!!!

 

as long as they work i think you'll be fine. You gotta make sure you tell them about the switch so they know.
