Default Anyone opened a Ram headlight before?

That's my question. Has anyone opened up a Dodge Ram non sport headlight before? I want to do a projector conversion for my truck, but am not willing to go drop $250 on a set of lights from LMC that I'm just going to cannibalize anyways. I was thinking the diffusion is possibly ribbed on the inside of our headlights, and that I can just buff/sand/polish it all off.

Maybe I'm crazy.

Any thoughts?

I have. What are you asking? Anyway here is a picture of what I think you are talking about from when I took mine apart. It may be hard to tell though.

YES! Now is that surface on the inside of the lens smooth or is it ribbed? If its ribbed I can just cut a circle out of the ribbing and polish it smooth.

Almost positive it was ribbed. It's been several months since I took it apart but I'm 99.9% sure it was ribbed on the inside.
