I vote we have at LEAST three people bring their trucks to him, to have him change the dist cap and rotor on them. Who's with me?

LOL - Actually, I just grabbed that picture off the internet, but it sure does look like it was taken by someone who also cheats.

As for me working on anyone's distributor, no way Jose! I was just under the hood of a friend's '96 2500 5.9, and frankly, I don't think it can be done! I think you guys need to enter into a class action lawsuit against Chrysler.

Now, how about you stop turning people against me, and go moderate something.

Try doing spark plugs on one of the newer fords........ They hide them quite effectively. Makes a tune up on the dodges look easy.

The only thing back there that would resemble an o2 sensor, is the oil pressure sending unit.

This is what I'm referring to; the IAC motor. The thing in this picture with the screwdriver bit in its mounting screw. If this is not what you're referring to, please post a picture of what you are referring to.

Well, guess I'm wrong. Sorry... Thought it was just a sensor. When I did mine, it didn't look like a mechanical piece at all. Was told it was a sensor, looked like a sensor, but now I know... Thank you!

Ok. I replaced the IAC. It wasn't to bad except for the star screw I couldn't see. I can't wait to see if it doesn't stall tomorrow morning. Maybe I should bang my girlfriend tonight for good luck.

Ok. She said she was tired. But the Ram started up and didn't stall the following morning.

Default Big IAC problems

I replaced my AIC and now my idle is about 2500 rpm and I have transmission fault codes (starts in 3rd gear) as well. My fuel gauge went to zero and is not back to normal. MIL is on. Tried resetting be disconnecting battery, no help. I have found multiple durations as to how long to reset the PCM. Any thoughts?
Disconnecting the IAC does nothing. It's like it is not getting a signal. Any idea on which pins to test?
