ok so I got two quotes; one from the company the other guys insurence wants me to go through, and the other from an actuall reputable buisness that I want to work on my truck. Oh yeah, there is a $2,000 difference between the two. I'm so freakn' pissed off right now.
The insurance company wants to fix my truck with all aftermarket cheap parts, thats just not going to happen. So the high quote came in at $5,500 and the low ball quote came in at $3,600. Let the battle begin!

You better believe it is. Dodge doesn't make a lot of the parts for these trucks anymore. Most of it comes from China. The best you can get for bumpers these days is re-manufactured, and they cost an arm and a leg.

Actually NO, its not going to happen. I've got a shop lined up ready to install OEM parts, he's just waiting for me to win the fight with the insurence company. As soon as I tell him to pull the trigger he will be ordering them up.

Yeah, the price different (if I went through a shop) for aftermarket: $450. Through a shop, OEM: $750.
So I went and bought the parts myself for about $300-$350, put them together myself tonight. They didn't go together 100% perfect, but decent enough. However, now the entire bumper appears to be pushed up, at a slight angle (plus or minus 20 degrees). I'm thinking it needs new bumper brackets, they must have been mucked up by the accident. What do you guys think? Anything else I could have missed that would cause the bumper to angle so?
Viper, maybe I'm blind and deaf, but I couldn't find any place around here that has Certifit. That would have been awesome though.
