Transmission Question
Oh okay. Yeah I ordered my pleneum kit after I already had the transmission and I think it took a week or so to get. He did tell me he had sent the torque converter seperately also which is why I had to get another one over nighted. I do think it wasn't the fastest company I've dealt with but I honestly feel that it was worth the wait. My wait wasn't quite as long as yours though.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Evil. I order mine from them and it shipped in 2 days. great group of people at this company. I have beat my new tranny from them in the ground and has performed great no problems at all. just my 2 cents.
Having my tranny rebuilt by anyone locally would be rolling dice.
Here's my idea of replacing my trans:
1. Order from a place that specializes/experienced in rebuilding Dodge 46RE's
2. Have a "stock" rebuild shipped to my house or local freight dock.
3. Ship mine to rebuilder to get core refund.
4. $1500-2000
If I'm dreaming, slap me and wake me up! Ha Ha!
Is this realistic? Is there any company that does this?
